First we had to wait for all the snow to melt. And after the winter we had, that seemed to take forever. Then they framed up the room, put the styrofoam down and the steel rods:
Then the next day the cement truck arrived. Jay helped with the laying of the cement. It was really cold that morning, so it took an extra day or two to set up properly.
That was a week ago...and here we sit. The blue square shows where the hot tub will sit. We are having a heated floor, so you don't want the heat coils under the tub, or you run a risk of it getting too hot. For whatever reason, the guy who's installing the coils is having a hard time getting them. They are taking FOREVER to arrive. Now that they are finally on the way, the rains starts. Lots and lots of rain. Almost constant, non-stop rain. ENOUGH PLEASE!
I want this room done. This room HAS to be done. We have plans for this room for Graduation. That's where all the pictures and displays for the girls will go. People can look through those on their way to or from eating.
