For Today

FOR TODAY October 6, 2008...

Outside My Window...Jay and other farmers are busy in the fields

I am thinking...That I shouldn't have stayed up so late last night talking to a friend. I love talking to her, but I am very tired this morning.

I am thankful for...The yummy new recipe a good friend shared with me (I'll post it tomorrow)

From the kitchen...The smell of baked oatmeal and the hum of the dishwasher

I am wearing... a t-shirt and jean shorts. It's a little chilly, but this is probably one of the last days I can wear this until next Spring, so I'm going to do it as long as possible

I am creating...a new plan that will hopefully help keep our pantry organized daily. This is a battle I will win.

I am going...out for supper tonight with one of my daughters, a good friend of mine and her 2 daughters

I am reading... To Love, Honor & Vacuum ~ I highly recommend it!

I am hoping...the Farmers Almanac is wrong and we don't have a long hard winter

I am hearing...the whir of the ceiling fan (darn those hot flashes!)

Around the house...It's very quiet. I am the only one home and the dogs are all sleeping.

One of my favorite things...was getting to watch my other daughter dance on her college dance team this past weekend.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Starting to tackle our out of control storage room. It's beyond full and the majority of things in there, are things I haven't looked at in years. Time for them to go.
