Christmas Pictures

On this past Friday, the weather was unseasonably gorgeous, so I took advantage of that and took the kids outside to take snapshots that I'd choose from for our Christmas card photo. We went to one of our farm ground areas and took a few there, and then we went to the nearby lake and took several there.

As if on cue, all 3 started bickering about who should stand where and who was touching whom (do they ever outgrow that?), so when they started goofing around with each other, I let them have fun and burn off steam. We got a few silly pictures including this one, which they said was their version of Charlies Angels:

And these two, which they called their "superior action shots". The shot of the two girls was to give the impression they were jumping into the lake:

Ashley & Chelsea wanted new photos for their facebook profiles, so we got these:

Once they all settled down, we got some really nice shots, including these 3, which were our favorites. I had all 3 wear shirts with their college/high school name on them to help family know where they go (especially the girls), and for obvious reasons, I blocked those out, which explains the purple squares:

Oh and for the record....Chelsea not that much taller than Ashley. I hadn't paid attention, but she wore her boots which have something like a 3" heel, while Ashley wore flats. LOL They are actually about an inch apart at the most.
So, of the last 3 you have a favorite? I'm having a hard time deciding!

Looks like fun! I love the girls jumping into the lake. For Christmas I would go with one of the last two. The one in the wheat is my fave but the pine tree background is closer, more centered and pine tree = Christmas.

Fun!!! memories, oh, I love them.

Wow...your kiddos are gorgeous! (and handsome, too, of course!)

Um, I would say pic #3...I like the lighting the best in that one. Great job!

Thank you all for your input. The "winning" photo has been chosen and I will post later which one it was. We did have a lot of fun that day, and I am so thrilled it was nice out! With Austin & I both wearing glasses, we aren't fans of indoor photos where you end up with white spots over your eyes from the flash. :-/
