If God Had A Blog

I just finished the book entitled "Imagine...God's Blog". The title alone intrigued me, so I bought it. I like to read at night before I go to bed, but when I'm reading at that time, I don't like to read a book with really long chapters. I like short chapters, so I can read for a little bit and then go to sleep. This book was great that way. Each "blog entry" was the chapter.

The author starts off by saying that everyone has their own interpretation of what they feel God would say and this is his interpretation and it's also meant to be light-hearted and even humorous at times. But, it still makes you stop and think too.

It starts off with God's Profile pages and here's just one example from each of the lists he has:

Things I Created That I Really Like:
Eyes - how they speak more clearly than mouths

Things I Made That Thrill You and Me Both:
Laughter

Names Humans Call Me:
Alpha

Favorite Stuff I Have Done:
"Surprise Lazarus! You're back!"

Contact Info:
Just call me...out loud, in your head, with your heart.

The last part of the last blog entry in the book reads:

I AM your Father. Your Daddy. I want your life to be the best it can be. And I will do a million things to get your attention. That includes using bizarre creative-type authors to toss a little truth in your direction so you can get freed up.

Some of you haven't read much in MY autobiography (the Bible). You can capture a lot more of who I am by going back to that bookstore and picking one of those up. By the way, there are a number of versions of that. Be sure to get one that's a good read for you. It doesn't matter to Me which one you get, 'cuz like I said, Truth is truth...and it will set you free. All you gotta do is open the pages. I'll meet you there.



I enjoyed this book enough that I have bought 3 more copies and will be putting them in our kids stockings for Christmas. If your looking for an inexpensive gift, I encourage you to check it out.
