Project 365 ~ Week 22

Thankfully this week was less eventful than last week! We're at the lake right now having a wonderful relaxing time.

Sunday - 5/23

Tonight while the rest of the world watched the series finale of "Lost", I watched the Farewell show for Brooks & Dunn, the country duo who has sang together for 20 years. It was a great show.

Monday - 5/24

Ashley came home today for a few days...

And I think she brought an entire semesters worth of dirty laundry with her. LOL

Tuesday - 5/25

Our state has a graduated drivers license for kids. At 16 you get a restricted license which permits you to drive from 6am to midnite alone.Outside of those hours you must have an adult with you. When you turn 17,  you can get an unrestricted license (which is just like the license you and I have).  However, in order to get that you must have a completely clean record - no tickets or accidents. If you have anything on your record, you stay on the restricted license until you are 18. Today I took Austin to get his unrestricted license. :)

Wednesday - 5/26

The well company arrived today to start drilling our new well. Yippee!

Thursday - 5/27

I took Gabby to the vet today for another recheck to see how she's doing. She kept pulling on the leash trying to leave. lol

Friday - 5/28

Today Chelsea and I went around to lay flowers where our grandparents are buried...

I just love all the beautiful flags that are always flying this weekend. So moving!

Saturday - 5/29

Today the weather was absolutely perfect, which made it a great day for riding the jet ski! This is a picture of Chelsea giving a ride to the little sister of Austin's girlfriend.

I hope you are all having a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!

Less eventful but still busy :-) That pile of laundry resembles ours when we got back from the retreat. lol

Enjoy your time at the lake!

Enjoyed your photos!
Good for driver Austin.
You like country music too. I didn't see that B & D show, tho.
Have a wonderful week!

As I was looking at your pics I just kept thinking, "Yay, a visit from her daughter. Yay, an unrestricted license - good boy!" "Triple yay - water is on the way!" Etc.

Thanks for sharing your week with us! Hope your son is back in full health very soon!

Glad this week was a little less hectic! Did you do the laundry or did Ashley? :) What a great idea with the driver's license and great job Austin!!
The jet ski looks like a lot of fun!

Not a LOST fan, huh?! ;)

Laundry. Ugh.

May have to pick your brain one of these days about the well. We are hopeful to find and buy land soon. And I'd really like to have well water.

Good for Austin!

I love the flag shot. They are so pretty against the blue sky.

Tori - the day after my daughters graduated high school I announced to them that my days of doing their laundry was now over. So therefore, Ashley did it. :)

Lori - we have a rural water company we could go through, but they are so ridiculously high priced that for us, it's worth it to dig a new well and then have free water forever.
