We have our new baby!

She arrived on Delta airlines this morning. She flew from Knoxville to Atlanta and finally to Des Moines. She was of course very scared at first, but is already settling into her new life on the farm. For the moment she is my constant companion (aka: shadow!) Gabby is afraid of her, but then again, Gabby is afraid of everything (and that's no exaggeration!) Ringo ignored her, as he does every dog, but that's because I think he doesn't realize that he himself is a dog. LOL

Yes, we were planning to change her name, but for reasons that are too long to go into here, we are keeping it the way it was. Besides, the name Molly fits her. :)

I'm sure as all 3 dogs get better acquainted, I'll have fun stories to write about, but for now, I'll just share a few pictures of Molly's first day in Iowa:
This was taken in the car on the way home from the airport. She wasn't too sure about all that was going on, but she did great on the ride home.

This was when Molly & Gabby met each other for the first time. Since that moment,
Gabby has been afraid of her and won't go near her. LOL

As you can see, Ringo could care less about her. LOL Such a silly boy!

" Sure it's been a long day, but I'm not tired at all. What makes you think that?"

As soon as I laid my hand on her back, it was like a
security blanket to her and she fell right asleep.
She is currently afraid of everyone else in the family, but up until 2 mo ago, she was living in a cage in a puppy mill. Since that time she has only known one family and came to trust the mother in that family. It's going to take time to undo the damage that was done in those 1st 6 years, but I know in time she'll come to love all of us, as much as we already love her.
Welcome home Molly!
