What a bummer!

We anxiously awaited the arrival of 12:00pm which would signal the start of the Capital One Bowl game in Orlando Florida. No we're not fans of Florida or Michigan, but since Ashley & Chelsea were there we watched to catch a glimpse of them in the crowd (no matter how much it could be compared to looking for a needle in a haystack). Then came half-time, the real moment we had been waiting for. I had taken a pain pill earlier, so I was a little loopy, but I sat up to see clearly. They left that game and went to the site of the Rose Bowl game that would be played later and talked about that game. I could have jumped through the screen! Jay was equally frustrated.

After a few minutes we saw they went to back to the Orlando game. We sat up straight again...Florida's marching band was on the field. A little while later Michigans band took the field. Are we EVER going to see them? Then they announced the All American Half-Time Show. We looked left, we looked right. We couldn't see them but kept searching. And in a matter of a few seconds *poof* it was over and they went to commercial.

We got a call a little bit later from Ashley asking if we watched and saw her. We told her she wasn't on tv and she was really bummed because she said there was a camera guy on her most of the time she was dancing. Chelsea called a little while later and we had the same conversation with her. She too had a camera guy going up and down her row the whole time and she said she even saw herself on the giant screen at the stadium!

There is a dvd you can order of the entire half-time show and it also has clips from the whole time all the dancers are there, showing practices and fun times they had. We're hoping that the girls will be on the dvd since the cameras were on them. We'll see.

But, we're still disappointed we didn't get to see them. Awww Shucks I mean geez, they act like the football game was more important or something.
