Happy Birthday Molly

It was one year ago today that my dear sweet Molly was rescued from that horrible puppy mill. Her life living in a tiny cramped cage, pumping out litter after litter was finally over and her new life was about to begin. While they knew her age, they didn't know her actual birthdate, so the rescuers named her rescue date as her birthdate, and we are continuing that since that is when her "real" life started.

So happy 7th birthday my sweet shy little girl. Each day you continue to open up and learn to trust more and more. You still have a long ways to go, but you have already come so far and I can only hope you continue trusting and learning that not everyone out there will hurt you. Most people are good and loving and want to see you happy as much as we do. They just don't always understand what you went through and how badly that scarred you. Let them see the sweet girl we know who's tail wags non-stop and who gives us shy kisses.
I hope you enjoy your birthday treat we bought for you and your new shiny red ball.
