Cake In A Cup

I received an awesome recipe from a friend of mine yesterday and we both agree that this is a great idea for anyone in college where they don't have much room or baking items....

Cake In A Cup

1 Angel food cake mix
1 Regular cake mix

Spray a coffee cup or mug with Pam.
Mix the 2 dry cake mixes together.
Then mix 1/3 C dry mixes with 3 Tbsp water in the cup. Mix well.
Microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes.

you can add chocolate chips, M&Ms, etc..

Turn upside down on a plate and top with cool whip, frosting, etc.

The mix makes about 18-19 cups worth

How great (and super easy) is that?? College kids can now make a cake right in their dorm room...one serving at a time. It's great for a gift idea, you could mix the cake mixes together and put them in a decorative jar with a ribbon around the lid and a note taped to the jar with the directions. Or you could put the mixes in a baggie stuffed into a cute mug with the directions. This friend of mine is making several of them up for college kids in her family for Christmas gifts. I made one tonight and talk about easy peasy!! I ate it plain because I am not a big fan of frosting and I don't like cool whip. I was impressed at how good it actually tasted.

Try it for yourself and let me know what you think!
