Project 365 ~ Week 43

Sunday ~ 10/18

We have a new farm kitten who is pretty shy and staying fairly hidden, but today I saw it peek out from behind a ceramic garden boot I hadn't put away yet. We're trying to get it tame so we can get it spayed or neutered, but so far, it wants nothing to do with us. :) We're trying to come up with a name for him/her.

Monday ~ 10/19

What a gorgeous day...finally!The sun came out and it was 65degrees. Wonderful! Even mama kitty came out and she helped her baby to be brave enough to come enjoy the sunshine with her.

Unfortunately, Jay was way too busy in the field to enjoy this one day of sunshine. He's also been selling pigs besides the harvesting, so he's working from about 4am until around 10-11pm. 6-7 days a week. He took a little break to come in for supper tonight, and before I could even get it dished up, I found him like this in the chair.

Tuesday - 10/20

Austin took over the living room this morning while packing up his FFA dress uniform, and other items in his bags. He and 7 other FFA members from our school got out of classes early this afternoon and headed for Indianapolis, Indiana for a few days to attend the FFA National Convention.

Ashley & Chelsea came home for the evening to watch Biggest Loser with me since I was home all alone. Ashley was hamming it up for the camera pretending to be Jillian and yelling at us to drink more water before kills us with a workout. Chelsea was doing some homework during the show, and she covered her face to send the message that she couldn't possibly be related to Ashley. ha!

Wednesday - 10/21

I went to Kohl's for their big sale, because I was in desperate need of some new jeans, and that is one place I can get them in short enough lengths to fit me properly. I rounded a corner and saw this, which caused my heart to race faster....

50% off sale on all purses and handbags. I did resist though and I walked away empty handed. Go me! :)

Thursday - 10/22

I finally got a diagnosis today after many months of not knowing what was causing my pain. I have Fibromyalgia and these are my 2 new medicines to hopefully help me get relief.

Friday - 10/23

Look at all this stuff hanging from the rear view mirror. This is Ashley's car that needed some maintenance work done, so Jay and I drove her car back to her college....How in the world does she see well enough? Plus, she has about 6 or 7 keychains hooked together for her keys. Teenagers. :)

Saturday - 10/24

My brother Lance and his wife Melissa share the same birthday (10/25), and today we celebrated their birthdays at their home. Happy birthday to you both. Love ya!

That was our wet nasty weather week. Hopefully we can get more sunshine this next week (although the forecast doesn't sound too positive). Head on over to Sara's through the link in the sidebar to see more Project 365 pictures!

I have had a couple friends with Fibro. Not fun.

Otherwise, loved this post and pics. I thought that boot was a real one at first and thought, "Her husband has big feet." LOL

Sweet girls you have!

Also, cat's name should be "Scaredy." Original!

Hope those meds help!

When a husband and wife have the same birthday - at least there's no chance he'll forget hers! lol

Hope Jay's killer schedule doesn't last too much longer. Poor guy!

Great photos!

Great photo of the kittens!
National convention in Indy! So close, except we are away now.
Would love to meet you on our way back to IN. Still don't know when we will be heading back, nor what route we will take.
I broke down and bought a purse at a JCP doorbuster. Good for you resisting the urge! ;)

I'm so sorry about the FM but so glad you got it diagnosed and are hopefully on the road to pain relief.

How funny for husband and wife to share the same birthday. That's one way to be sure he won't forget yours. Ha!

Cute kitty. If it's a girl you could name her Hidey, if it's a boy, HideHe. LOL!

Love the name suggestions! Much more clever than what we are currently calling him/her: baby kitty. LOL

Thank you all for the good thoughts and wishes. Getting the right medication at the right dosage is key, and we were told it'll be a long road. God is determined to teach me patience...HA!
