Project 365 ~ Week 10

Week 10! We're into March and Spring is starting to show us that better weather is definitely on the way. I can't wait!

Sunday - 2/28

Pancakes for breakfast. When the girls were still at home, they loved pancakes. I would make up a huge batch of them at a time and freeze them, so they could pull them out and nuke for a minute and eat them any mornings they wanted. Some habits are hard to break. Austin's not big on pancakes very often,so this will last us a while.

Monday - 3/1

Spa day for Tucker and Gabby, and I snapped these in the parking lot before we headed home. Look how tired Gabby looks, poor thing. Getting beautiful is exhausting! :)

Tuesday - 3/2

We headed to Des Moines for the girls State Basketball Tournaments. The team Jay helped coach before coming back to our school this year made it to the tournaments, so we went down to watch them play. Bonus for us...cousin Alyson is on the team, so it was fun to share that with her. Unfortunately they lost the game, but still, I know it's something they'll never forget.

Wednesday 3/3

I switched out the winter bathroom decorations for the Spring ones. I wish it was just as easy to get rid of the snow and ice outside.

Thursday - 3/4

Haircut and highlights for me. Love the highlights, hate the haircut. But I'm getting over it - slowly. lol (what's with the little flip of hair on top??? ha)

Friday - 3/5

The guys went to the golf store they love, so they dropped me off next door at a store I love: Barnes & Noble. I got a cookbook and a couple of other books, so I was a happy camper.

Saturday - 3/6
Making up my grocery shopping list with a spreadsheet program I made up a year or so ago. Items we use regularly (milk, bread, etc) are saved on there, which saves me a lot of time. Efficient? Nope - laziness. LOL

So that was our week. How was yours? Head over to Sara's through the link in the sidebar to see other photos!

I do the same with pancakes!!!

really? you change out your bathroom decor for the seasons? I am very impressed!!!

I only do this for one bathroom. It's mine, and also the one guests use. I like decorating/re-decorating, and the guys would never let me do something like this to their bathroom. LOL

I love that you change the bathroom decor! I would never think to do that.
So you're not going to show us a picture of the new haircut? Seems like getting beautified was a theme at your house this week!!
Have a super week.

The photo of B&N made me homesick!
Can relate about hating a haircut. My last one was so short that even six weeks later it's not long enough to use a curling iron even a little. Ugh.
I'm thinking of doing highlights soon. I found out recently that it's very cheap here, about the equivalent of $13!
What a great idea of preparing and freezing pancakes.

We freeze pancakes too! And waffles.

I can't believe you took your picture in the salon!!! My daughter's standing here -- she knows I have a box of haircolor & highlights in the bathroom -- and just dared me to take my picture doing my hair.

Not>LIKELY!

I'm a happy camper in any bookstore OR Hobby LOBBY!!!!!

I used to do the very same thing with my pancakes. I don't any more as the appeal eventually wore off and I ended up tossing them in the trash.

I have been expliring this software:

http://www.splashdata.com/splashshopper/?referrer=googleadwords&campaign=splashdata&gclid=CJq_gbzHqaACFQhinAodOCT1aw

Check it out. It is called Splash Shopper. I gives you a grocery list that is on your computer and will sync with a smart phone or palm device and you can take it with you to the store. You can add and edit items and keep up with what you have spent...I am still exploring it but so far it is really great!

Great 365!

Blessings
and have a great week.

Now way on the haircut photo! LOL

Robin, thanks for the info...I'll check that out. Anything that makes shopping and life in general easier is a plus in my book. :)

Spring decor and spring!
Reminds me I need to take down the winter wreath and put up the springy one. But there is still a mound of snow on the front porch--it got piled up so and is in the shade.

My hairdresser gives great haircuts, but I never like how she styles it.

Hope to see your new look when you get used to it. ;)

OH, Barnes & Noble...I could spend too much time and money there.
