Sunday - 5/16
Today Ashley, Chelsea, and I decided to run a couple of errands together, started off our day together at Macaroni Grill for lunch. We've never been there before (not sure why not), but the girls were so fascinated with the fact that they were given crayons to color on the table with. LOL
Monday - 5/17
Not a good day. Poor Austin had the stomach flu (complete with a fever of 102). He was violently sick every half hour or so, for over 12 hours. Bless his heart, he was so miserable. My heart broke for him.
Tuesday - 5/18
Happy birthday Jay! We surprised him with an ice cream cake, which he dearly loves! Both girls were able to come home, so that made his day extra special. Unfortunately Austin was still sick, so he slept through the celebrating.
Wednesday - 5/19
Poor Austin was still so sick and weak that I took him to the doctor. He was complaining of chest pains and a stiff neck, both of which made us nervous. Tests showed it was just a super nasty virus, and he had pulled muscles in both his neck and chest. Also, he was slightly dehydrated. He was told to drink more and continue resting as much as possible, which wasn't too tough. He had barely moved in 3 days.
Thursday - 5/20
Our internet adapter broke as you can see, and today the new one arrived. Yippee!
Friday - 5/21
I spent quite a bit of time this week looking through grilling and crockpot recipes, so I can be ready to go for the camping season!
Saturday - 5/22
This was just not a good week for Austin. Yesterday he finally was well enough to go back to school (even though he was still tired), and then yesterday evening after supper he was out on the jet ski and in a flash his glasses flew off and quickly sank to the bottom of the lake. Thankfully I found a 1-hour optical place and by noon today he had a new pair of glasses...along with a new neon yellow floating neck strap to attach to his glasses.
That was our week. We're still at the lake until tomorrow and it's nice and relaxing to kick back with friends. Head on over to Sara's (through the link in the sidebar) to see other Project 365 pictures.

We have never been to Macaroni Grill either. ...always thought it an odd name for a restaurant.
Awesome Cake. Happy Birthday, JAY. & feel better Austin :(
LOVE my crockpot. Couldn't live without it.
Have a great week, Dena!

I love Macaroni grill. I haven't been there in a while, but it is so good.
your poor son!! glad he is feeling better....no one else got it?
I lost my glasses in the lake once too. I had a new light weight pair and forgot i had them on. I jumped into the lake and came up without them. I always keep a spare pair now because I can't see a lick without them!
Austin has prescription sunglasses, so he had those he could wear to get him by until we got his new ones. However, it was interesting for him as we sat around the campfire Friday night. He said he could barely see anything because it was so dark. LOL
Crockpot while camping...what a good idea!
Nice to have your daughters around, I'm sure!
I've often thought about Lasik surgery...
The cake looks yummy. I love ice cream cake.

Poor guy! I hate being that sick. Glad he's feeling better. We've recently had a 24 hour flu bug pass through our house that every one of us has gotten, just on different days. Thankfully it was only 24 hours though!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Poor Austin!! So glad he got to feeling better and no one else got it!

I want cake! I want cake! OK, now that I have that out of my system...
I'm such a dweeb sometimes - I forgot that your earlier post about Austin being sick was this past week & I was all concerned that he was sick AGAIN. Blonde moment. No offense to actual blondes.
Glad you enjoyed the lake!
I used to WORK at Macaroni Grill!!! I was a singing waitress. :)
Ewww...the pukes...so sorry, Austin.
Whoa. I didn't know adapters could break like that! (I'm thinking if it can happen, it WILL at my house.)
Have fun at the lake!
