The Biggest Loser

I know I already posted this morning, but I just had to take a second to post on last nights finale of The Biggest Loser. Oh wow...what a show! I personally love TBL. I know my trainer doesn't like it at all. She feels it creates an unsafe image for most "real" people. Some people will try to imitate some of the techniques used in training on the show, not realizing how much time has been put in before, how many times they did it to get something right, and the fact that there are doctors standing nearby. She worries people will get seriously injured. "That's their own dumb fault" I always tell her. LOL

Anyhow, back to the finale....

I LOVE Ali (in the pink). She kind of reminds me of myself at times regarding her self-doubt. But I have cheered for her and her mom since they were first introduced on the show. I was sad when they got voted off, but thrilled when Ali earned her way back to the show. When she was originally voted off she said "I will be the biggest loser" and she proved that she could back it up. Sure, she had setbacks like they all did, but she kept at it. She has grown on the inside so much.

I LOVE Roger. He appears so genuine. He doesn't try to act all cool or put on a show. He's just a former football player who is now a husband and a dad trying to get healthy so he can stick around longer for his family. If a girl wasn't going to win TBL, then I would be happy it was Roger.

I dont like Kelly. The main reason I don't like her is she complains a lot. She always tries to use her age as an excuse. "I'm not as young as the rest of these guys, so that puts me on the outside." Uh hello...Mark and Roger aren't young either, and neither was Betty Sue. But they didn't constantly complain that it made things harder for them. Suck it up girl.

I used to despise Mark, then I liked him for a while, and now he just grates on me like fingernails on the blackboard. Mark, buddy, a word of advice...the crying has GOT to stop! Seriously...enough! I have no problem with men crying, I really don't. But for petes sakes when a guy is a drama queen like he became, that's just wrong. I was glad he wasn't in the top 3.

So the finale has all of the voted off contestants weigh-in. The one who loses the most percentage wins $100,000.00. Bernie won and I couldn't have been happier! He was my favorite guy for the whole season. I so wish he could have made it to the finals!

The top 3 (Roger, Kelly & Ali) weigh in. I honestly figured Roger would win. I didn't think Kelly could compete with him regarding how much weight was lost and I didn't figure Ali had enough left to lose to compete with him. Imagine my shock and happy surprise when Ali DID in fact win! I was so happy for her!

I only have 1 question left now regarding this season. Does anyone know what the red/white rubber bracelets all the contestants wore had on them? Every one of them wore one all season long, but I never saw them tell what they were or what is written on them. Somebody fill me in please. This enquiring mind wants to know! LOL
