We got an email update regarding little Amanda's blog and it was wonderful news. She had gone into remission, and they were hoping her most recent bone marrow results showed she was still there and it did! Halleluia! Praise God!! Here's what the update said:
"Good news today! Amanda is still in remission, her second bone marrow results still showed no cancer cells! The purpose of the first two rounds of chemo were to get her into remission and she did it. The next three rounds are intensification of the chemo. Stronger doses to keep destroying any possible remaining cancer cells that might still be in her system and cause potential relapse. She is a trooper though and is taking the first couple of days pretty good. We can tell the chemo is making her feel sick and tired, but she is still eating and smiling for now.
Well, that is all for today, it was another good day. Thanks again for all your support and prayers. God is looking out for Amanda and us and we are very grateful for his healing hands and inspiration. Please pray that Amanda does well through her treatment and that the infections stay away this time.
Thank you from all of us, we love you all.
Love and God bless!!"

She was in town over the 4th and watched the fireworks. Ashley & Chelsea loved getting to see her again. She grabbed Chelsea by the hand and told her to come play with her. Such a sweet, happy child! We will continue to keep her in our prayers that she will stay in remission forever.
