Project 365 - Week 6

Project 365 - Week 6

2/1

Superbowl Sunday. I was sick, so Jay and Austin watched the game in the sunroom with a couple of friends while I laid on the couch in the living room by myself. Before the game Austin kept me company by putting in a movie for us to watch together. It's a comedy called "Are We Done Yet?". I found very few actual funny parts in it, and thought it was one of the dumbest movies ever. I couldn't wait for it to be over. However, I endured it because I thought it was so sweet of my son to want to do something to try to help me feel better.

2/2

This was actually how I spent most of Saturday-Tuesday. I had the flu complete with fever, body aches, headache, sore throat and major crankiness. The dogs loved snuggling up close to me and taking 3 hour naps several times a day, and they were kind of sad when I recovered.

2/3

I still slept most of the day, but by evening I felt better...just in time to watch Biggest Loser. I love Bob and would to have him as my trainer.

2/4

We made the trip to Ashleys college to watch her dance team perform on the sidelines and at half-time. I love watching her dance. She reminds me so much of myself. I used to dance when younger and when I watch her I can see how much she really enjoys it, just like I used to....although I'm pretty sure my kicks were never that good. :)

2/5

I saw this sign in a shop and I believe it's a good philosophy that I should adopt.

2/6

I had another chemical peel done on my entire face by the dermotologist to work on correcting all my sun damage. The dark red in this picture is where the worst sun damage is, so that had extra strong chemicals put on it...twice. It's very painful for a few days like a really bad sunburn. If you scroll back up to my picture from 2-2 you will be able to see how much more red I am in these shots. For the next few days I will peel like a snake shedding it's skin. Sexy huh? See kids, this is the price you pay when you don't wear sunscreen!

2/7
I baked all day...breads, muffins, bars and cookies. Yum! The house smelled so good.

Glad that you are feeling better. We have been blessed with good health so far this winter. I don't even want to know how much damage the sun has done to me, I know its bad. Yumm, the muffins do look delicious.

Ouch that chemical peel looks quite painful. I used to spend entire days laying out in the sun or at the beach with oil to help me tan. I have had a number of very intense sunburns.

Your daughter's kick is perfect!

Love the House Rules sign!! LOL!

Hope you're feeling better. :)

I LOVE Bob, and I wish he were here to kick me into shape. :) Although I would probably moan and groan if he actually did.

Oh, that looks so painful. I've wanted to get a peel to correct some issues I have, but I didn't know if I could tolerate it. But I am sure that the results will be more than worth it!

Ouch! That treatment you had makes me glad I shunned the sun!

If I tried to kick that high I'd end up on my behind. LOL But those girls make it look so easy. Of course their bodies are MUCH younger and more limber. But honestly, I think I'd have fallen if attempting to do that even when I was young.

Glad the flu is behind you. No fun!
